This is the first pair of socks for the Addicted to Sock Knitting Summer KAL which runs from April 1-May31. The socks look brown, but the yarn is actually a deep gold. The pattern is Swirl E. Socks, a free pattern on Ravelry.
These are my second pair of socks for the SpringKAL, Addicted to Socks.
Needles: Size 2.25mm (size 1) dpns
Yarn: Morningside sock (400 yards/3.4 ounces of 100% Superwash Merino wool fingering/sock weight) Colorway: Done from Nooch Fiber Shop on Etsy.

Lady Meux, (1847 – 1910) was a Victorian socialite and the wife of Sir
Henry Meux, 3rd Baronet (pronounced “Mews). There is a famous portrait
of her by James Whistler, in which she is dressed in a soft gray and
light pink which was clearly the source of these colors for this yarn.

Pattern: The Hornet for the January Knit from Stash KAL on Addicted to Sock Knitting
The first Hornet sock for the KAL showing the first set of 27 stitches. I need to knit another set and then the first 17 rounds once again before beginning the heel flap.
The first Blue Moon sock with the leg portion finished. I'm ready to begin knitting the heel flap.
I did not like how this was turning out so I frogged it. I've been collecting patterns that work well with stripped yarn and will use one of them with this yarn.
